After last week's snowstorm, we're back on track - kids are in school (phew) and even trash pick-up is back to its regular schedule. 


Monday, Jan. 6

Tuesday, Jan. 7 

_The Sleepy Hollow Board of Trustees meets at 7 p.m. Among the agenda items is a resolution to authorize the village's grant writer to apply for a National Endowment for the Arts grant to help bring various arts to the citizens of Sleepy Hollow and foster the arts here.

_Free Citizenship classes start at Warner Library with registration today from 10 a.m. to 1 pm and Friday, January 10th from 10 a.m. to 1 pm. An instructor from Southern Westchester BOCES will cover all the information needed to pass the citizenship exam. Call 631-7734 for more info.


Wednesday, Jan. 8

_Tarrytown reports: The Regular Recycling Collection schedule will resume today.  

_A talk at the Greenburgh Library on 'Ace of Good' from Susan Barron Trenk, Founder and CEO of the philanthropic organization that provides school supplies to many poor children around the world, and now supports military families living below the poverty line at home.
