_If you're wondering what all the hubbub lately at EF School is about -- additional air conditioning coming in and all -- there's a huge UN summit going on this week with 100 young leaders coming here from around the globe to learn how to further their efforts in making great change for the better. _Village of Tarrytown is holding its Planning Board staff meeting at 7 p.m. in Village Hall. The agenda of new and continued public hearings and presentations includes:

  • Peter Bartolacci, 67 Miller Avenue, Removal railroad tie wall, construction of retaining walls and landscaping of rear yard
  • Justin P. DiNino, 27 Storm Street, Start-up micro farm brewery
  • Ed Coco, Coco Management, 45 North Broadway, Renovation of existing building to grocery store.
  • JCC-On-the-Hudson, 371 & 425 South Broadway, Renewal of  Planning Board approval, which expired on April 25, 2013, to expand and renovate the existing GM Training Center to become the new JCC Community Center.
  • 21 Wildey Street LLC (Contract Vendee), 21 Wildey Street, will continue a preliminary public presentation on a proposed three-story and basement residential building with 35 off-street parking spaces.
  • EF International, 100 Marymount Avenue, presents on proposed conversion of Library to Dorms
