Need a Final Fireworks Fix Before Winter?

The Grucci extravaganza on Columbus Day Eve in Eastchester should be visible for miles.

A glorious exhibit of fireworks by Grucci will light up the night sky Oct. 13 in central Westchester.

It will kick off the annual Columbus Day celebrations in Eastchester.

The fireworks, organized by the Columbus Day Committee of Eastchester, will be fired from multiple locations on the golf course at Lake Isle Country Club.

"Some will reach an altitude of 500-plus feet," said Grucci Chief pyrotechnician Charlie DeSalvo. "They will be visible from miles away."

Fireworks by Grucci (www.grucci.com) is a fifth-generation family
owned and operated company that dates back to 1850.

The show will start at 9 p.m.
