It's rainy, dark and damp AGAIN and I am feeling the weather in my joints. Today especially my hips and knees are achy. I think about reaching for an aspirin but, instead, I head down to Riverstone Yoga for a 9:30am class. Fast forward 75 minutes, my joint aches are gone and my hips feel better. This is just one of the 1000 reasons why I do yoga. I remark to Karen, today's instructor, "yoga is my aspirin, it's not magic, it's not a drug, it's just yoga!" And, like an aspirin, yoga fixes my minor aches or the soreness you get after a good workout every time.
