Caravela
914-631-1863
Named after a type of Portuguese ship, Caravela's nautical theme extends to its menu which is divided into three sections: a voyage through former Portuguese colonies, seasonal fare and an appreciation for the chef's influences. Since 1986, Fernando Cabral's establishment has received great praises for the restaurant's classic and hearty seafood stew.

Food is a bit above average. Our group of four found the service and personnel to be unfriendly. It was not a pleasant experience.
We dine often in Tarrytown restaurants and will continue to return to those who welcome us!
Caravela is a member of the Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce and is Celebrating 25 years of service and outstanding food.

When I moved to Tarrytown seventeen years ago, Caravela quickly became my favorite local restaurant - and that continues . With friendly and efficient service this is one of the rare restaurants where you can return and always find the dishes prepared exactly as you enjoyed. Caravela is one of the few restaurants that you can entertain guests and be assured of a good meal and professional service.. A great place for
al fresco dining or cocktails in the warmer months.
PS Also try Tarry Tavern on Main Street owned by the proprietors son
