A member of the Tarrytown Fire Department, the Consolidated Engine Company was established in 1870, and features Engine 77. This pumper not only features a pumping speed of 1,500 gallons per minute, but also carries extrication tools. These include the "jaws of life," a hydraulic-powered tool that is used to cut through wreckage, ensuring the safe extrication of victims.
