Named after John Douglas, whose brother Henry owned the adjoining land in the 1880s, the park's 17 acres include picnic sites overlooking the Pocantico River, a steep that leads to the river and a small playground. The park, accessed via New Broadway, has facilities for picnicking and fishing and has a playground and a greenway trail.
Douglas Park is maintained and operated by the Village of Sleepy Hollow Recreation Department, which can be reached at 914-366-5109.
