Greenburgh Town Assessor
The Town Assessor is responsible for appraising real property in the Town of Greenburgh (including the Village of Tarrytown) for the purpose of preparing fair and equitable property taxes for the School District and Town and County governments. The Town Assessor serves a six-year term and is appointed by the Town Board. The Assessor is responsible for all tax exemptions receives all filed tax grievances and assists in the defense of litigation over property taxes. The Assessor for Greenburgh is Edye McCarthy.
