Founded in England in 1865 by William Booth and his wife Catherine, The Salvation Army is a church with a mission to bring hope and fulfill the needs of the downtrodden and the poor. It's Tarrytown headquarters on Wildey Street were constructed in 1959. The Army offers church services, serves food and accepts donations.
