State Police Sergeant said autopsy tomorrow will reveal final results, but officials are all but certain it is Scott Uzzo of Hawthorne, who jumped from the TZ Bridge in late December.
State police are working to identify a body that was found washed ashore this afternoon behind the historic Lyndhurst estate in Tarrytown. According to MTA spokesperson Marjorie Anders, a track inspector found the body around 12:15 p.m., about one mile north of the Irvington train station. The recovery of the body “did not affect trains,” she said. Contrary to one previously published report in Lohud.com, there was no police boat coming up from the MTA. "We don't have a boat. This is not our investigation,” she said, saying the case in the hands of the State Police. The Sleepy Hollow Police Department reported the following incidents. Jan. 26 Trevor Kinsey, a 21-year-old Sleepy Hollow resident, turned himself into Peekskill police headquarters for an assault that occurred on Jan. 15 at 11:30 p.m. on N. Division Street in Peekskill. The victim, an acquaintance of Kinsey, was assaulted after he threw a handful of loose change at Kinsey’s vehicle. The victim sustained a broken nose, and fractured eye socket. Kinsey was charged with second degree assault, a Class D felony, and was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail. The Tarrytown Police Department reported the following incidents: Jan. 26 1:52 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle on North Washington Street for a violation but driver failed to comply and fled northbound on Route 9. Officer stopped vehicle at Rice Street and Spruce Street in Sleepy Hollow. Police check revealed the vehicle to be valid but the operator license to be revoked and that the operator was under arrest for DWI. Car impounded and operator transported to headquarters where he refused to consent to a breath test on three separate occasions. The New York State Police reported handing out 23 traffic tickets and performing one Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated arrest on Super Bowl Sunday. During a "roving DWI saturation detail" in Westchester County, Julian Pena of Yonkers was stopped for speeding and subsequently arrested on the Sprain Brook Parkway. Police report the 28-year-old was processed at NYSP's Hawthorne department, where a breath test revealed his blood alcohol content (BAC) measured in at .20 percent. He is due back in Greenburgh Court on February 13. Also during the detail, state police reported issuing 23 traffic tickets:

More than 400 firefighters from the region gathered at the Tarrytown Marriott Hotel on Saturday for the 11th Annual Lt. Andy Fredericks Memorial Seminar and Exhibit. Included in the crowd was 19-year-old Suffern firefighter Andrew Fredericks, who was 9 years old when his father was killed. "I spent a day at another FDNY house when I was 14. I was with Lt. Brian Curid who showed me around and that's what made me want to become a firefighter," Fredericks said. The seminar included two presentations by FDNY officers meant to educate those in the crowd on firefighting tactics and safety. Homeless Ossining Man Sues Eminem Stephen Lee Pieck, a homeless Ossining man, is suing hip-hop artist Eminem for $9 million, reports AllHipHop.com. Pieck claims he was in White Plain's Legal Seafood restaurant with pop star Christina Aguilera and her husband Sep. 9, 2010 when Aguilera put him on the phone with Eminem. The Sleepy Hollow Police Department reported the following incidents. Jan. 21 3:20 a.m. Caller stated that someone had stolen his vehicle and he just saw them drive by in it. Complainant stated that the car was stolen about 20 minutes prior from Cortlandt Street at Clinton Street. The vehicle had been left running with the keys in the ignition. Tarrytown Police Department notified and information entered into system. At 4:22 a.m., White Plains PD called reporting the stolen vehicle was recovered at the Stop and Shop supermarket at 154 Westchester Avenue. The vehicle hit the building and the suspect fled on foot. The Tarrytown Police Department reported the following incidents: Jan. 19 10:09 a.m. Property Manager of the Edgemont Condos on Martling Avenue reported an at approximately 12:30 a.m. an unknown person egged the front of the building. A White Plains man and Somers woman died in separate crashes Jan. 28 in North Castle.
The Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victims of two separate crashes in North Castle on Jan. 28, according to LoHud.com. Kimberly Figa, 23, of 39 Deans Bridge Rd. in Somers, died at Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mount Kisco after driving her 2011 Mercedes Benz off Hickory Pass near Cedar Hill Road at approximately 9:15 a.m. An earlier police report identified the woman as 24. About an hour later, Elbert Jourdy, 61, of 468 No. Broadway in White Plains, was driving his Mercury Marquis when he and a Ford pickup driven by a Katonah man collided near the entrance of the Westchester County Airport on Route 120. Two fatal car crashes occurred within an hour of one another in North Castle on Saturday morning. At approximately 9:18 a.m. on Jan. 28, a 24-year-old Somers woman fatally crashed a 2011 Mercedes Benz near 25 Hickory Pass in the Banksville part of North Castle, according to a police report. The Armonk and Banksville Fire Departments, and Westchester EMS were also on scene. The North Castle Police Department responded to a second incident at approximately 10:22 a.m. at the intersection of NY Route 120 and Airport Road in the Armonk section of town involving two vehicles.
