The Union Hose Fire House is one of five individual fire companies in the Sleepy Hollow area. This was the second hoseMore company to be organized in the village of Sleepy Hollow. It was organized on December 15th, 1887, in the same building as the Pocantico Hook and Ladder. It then moved to its current location in 1928.

The building between the Police Department and the Fire Department opened in 1940 and continues to operate as SleepyMore Hollow's municipal center. Village Hall currently houses the Justice Court, Administrator's Office, Architecture and Building Department, Finance Department and Recreation Department. The Village Board of Trustees meetings are held in the meeting room on the second floor of Village Hall. Trustee meetings are open to the public and usually fall on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
