The Jewish Community Center on the Hudson was founded in Yonkers in 1929 and has grown to be a significant focalMore point for the Jewish community in Westchester.</p> <p>As a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, the JCC on the Hudson provides a central meeting place for the Jewish community and facilitates social, recreational and educational opportunities for Westchester residents of all denominations.</p> <p>Since its founding, the JCC has continued to evolved into a dynamic community resource for individuals of all ages, races and religions. Services include a state-of-the-art fitness center and exercise classes, an accredited Early Childhood Program, after-school care, School of Music and Performing Arts, senior clubs, day camps, Jewish and general education and a variety of offerings for children and adults with special needs.</p> <p>The JCC offers fee-based memberships and provides scholarship opportunities for those who cannot afford activity fees.
