The Sleepy Hollow Department of Architecture, Land Use Development, Buildings & Building Compliance is responsibleMore for the administration and enforcement of all laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and orders relating to the location, design, material, construction, alteration, repair, equipment, maintenance, use, occupancy, fire safety and demolition of buildings and structures. The department issues all building permits and occupancy certificates and is responsible for oversight on construction and development. The department is supervised by the Village Architect, Sean E. McCarthy.
Sleepy Hollow Village Hall

The building between the Police Department and the Fire Department opened in 1940 and continues to operate as SleepyMore Hollow's municipal center. Village Hall currently houses the Justice Court, Administrator's Office, Architecture and Building Department, Finance Department and Recreation Department. The Village Board of Trustees meetings are held in the meeting room on the second floor of Village Hall. Trustee meetings are open to the public and usually fall on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
Sleepy Hollow Middle School

Located in the new, dominating High School/Middle School building on the east side of Broadway, Sleepy Hollow MiddleMore school serves district students in grades 6 - 8. The school has about 530 students and over 80 full and part-time staff and assistants. </p> <p>Although the Middle School shares a building with Sleepy Hollow High School, the schools remain separate with their own designated areas, activities and staff.</p> <p>The school offers honors classes in math and science, special education services and English as a Second Language classes. The Middle School also has over 18 extra-curricular clubs and societies as well as an athletics department.</p> <p>The Principal of the school is Elizabeth Lopez.</p>

North Tarrytown Housing Authority

Established in 1961, the North Tarrytown Housing Authority is a low income housing complex. It is supported by theMore federal organization HUD, the US Department of Urban Housing and Development. It is a not-for-profit complex where occupants can pay up to 30 percent of their income towards rent. The remaining amount of income is subsidized by the Section 8 housing program. In addition to the apartments, there is a police substation located in the building.
Philipsburg Manor & Kykuit Visitor Center

This is the home base for tours departing by shuttle bus for Kykuit (the Rockefeller estate) and Philipsburg Manor (theMore 18th century farm with historic animal breeds). Guests are welcome to wander around the grounds and buildings, participate in hands-on activities and watch demonstrations by interpreters in period costumes. Guided tours are available throughout the day.
