Pre-motherhood, I was in the television news business as an assignment editor at NBC and CNN.  Before that, I was at the NY desk of a Japanese TV network.  As I have watched the sources of information evolve so quickly these past few years, I am amazed at the breadth of content that is out there.  Patch becomes a place to bring it home to your own backyard - hyperlocal and hyper-relevant.
These days, I like to write about health and nutrition, parenting and suburban life in general.  What makes our lives rich?  How can we make it work better?  What makes a community? I am figuring it all out with my husband and three sons here in Katonah.
