Rebecca Shabad, Neighbor

Rebecca Shabad graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in May 2011. She earned a B.A. in broadcast journalism and political science. Ossining is her hometown and she is excited to tell its stories. Croton is also her beat and she certainly knows her way around there. Shabad completed several internships at Newsweek magazine, Newsweek.com and NY1 News. She also volunteered as a news reporter at an NPR affiliate throughout college.
