The workshop - Moms. Myths. Magic. - will provide moms with useful information and inspiration in the areas of nutrition, attitude, exercise, and healthy living.

“My goal is to encourage and guide moms in making important changes that will influence their decisions about food, and life, so they improve their own health, prevent illness, be happier, and nurture their children’s healthy habits” Murphy explained.

Murphy holds a BA from Fordham University as well as a post-graduate certification from New York University’s Center for Philanthropy.  She is a Certified Holistic Health Coach, trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and is Dr. Sears L.E.A.N. Certified.

Baby Chic owner Stefanie Laib said “This workshop fits well with the focus of my store and clientele.  It is a logical decision for me and Sheila to collaborate since we both focus on helping moms make smart choices for our families.”

Baby Chic is an upscale baby and children’s consignment boutique at very down to earth prices. It specializes in clothing from size 0-7, strollers, playpens, infant toys, high chairs and all nursery accessories for the “chic baby.”

“Our goal is to provide parents with an assortment of pre-loved, new or nearly new baby and toddler items at fantastically low prices,” Laib said.  “We have a unique variety of baby and toddler items, along with a fun and chic selection of clothing.”

“The workshop will cover a wide variety of topics including how to prepare more nutritious meals without sacrificing taste and enjoyment, how to creatively incorporate more vegetables and fruits into meal planning and how to maintain healthy hydration,” Murphy added.

The cost for the 2 hour seminar is just $35 per person.  “Space is limited,” Laib noted, “so we are encouraging reservations. Reservations can be made by going to www.SheilaEmeryMurphy.com or https://www.eventbrite.com/event/8845736837 .”
