Mistletoe & Menorahs at Lyndhurst
Start off the Holiday Season with Mistletoe & Menorahs at the Lyndhurst Carriage House. Not to be missed during the festive season is this collection of comedy-drama one-act holiday romps with festive songs in between.
You think you’ve shopped “til you’ve dropped?” Wait until you meet Muriel and Lourdes who give new meaning to “last minute shopping” in award-winning playwright Staci Swedeen’s priceless Feliz Navidad. Gail Drucker’s acclaimed one-act comedy Would You Like a Potato Latke? is also on the bill, dubbed “Sex and the City for the mature crowd,” Rose and Bessie celebrate Hanukkah and learn more than they bargained for about their 47-year friendship. Ms. Swedeen’s touching Deck the Tree and Ms. Drucker’s bittersweet monologue about a woman’s memories and a life changing experience during the holiday season round out the poignant and sometimes hilarious performances. Under the direction of Michael Muldoon, Carol Eagen and Suzanne Ochs will star in this production with Jim Petrillo as the vocalist.
Tickets will be sold for $35.00 for all seats, general admission and are available at http://www.lyndhurst.org/
