Coen Brothers Film Could Affect Your Commute

"Inside Llewyn Davis" filming on Route 117 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week.

Route 117, recently a setting for the , the latest in the Bourne franchise, is now about to play a role in a new Coen Brothers' folk music picture. 

Inside Llewyn Davis, according to Variety, will include Justin Timberlake as a folk musician named Jim. Oscar Isaac stars as the title character, a struggling musician who is trying to make ends meet. Carey Mulligan will play Jean, Jim's wife.

's Briarcliff Manor campus is also rumored to be a part of the set. Crew parking signs and large film trucks can be seen entering and leaving the campus. Check out some photos from The Pace Chronicle's Facebook page here.

As Variety describes it: the "Story focuses on the folk music scene in Greenwich Village in the 1960s and the title character is loosely based on Dave Van Ronk, a folk singer who was friends with Bob Dylan, among other famous musicians."

For residents here that use route 117 that may mean some hassle traveling. A notice from Sleepy Hollow Village Hall office warned of road closures on 117 starting this morning:

Wednesday, March 14 - 10am-7am   (21 hours!)

Friday, March 16, 10am-7am  (21 hours!)

Closures are between Highways 9 & 448 in Mount Pleasant between these approximate times. State approved detours will be in place during all filming times and intermittent traffic control will take place on Old Sleepy Hollow Road.
