Missing Dog Found!

The border collie/golden retriever mix was last seen today at intersection of County House Road and Bedford Road and responds to the name Duffy.

Elaine Marranzano needs your help. She writes:

A dog is missing from the Wilson Park area. He was chased away today by a dog he didn't know, so he was scared and didn't come back. He was last seen today about 12:45 p.m. at the intersection County House Road and Bedford Road.  He is a border collie/golden retriever mix weighing about 30 pounds and answering to the name of Duffy.  He has a fluffy white tail that curls over his back.  If seen, please call me at 914-282-3577.

Happily, an update came from Marranzano this morning, with a thank you to the Sleepy Hollow Police and the kind woman who housed the dog overnight on such a treacherous night.

Dog Found!!!! Some nice person brought Duffy inside her house on Webber Ave. last night.  He is safe inside with her dog until she gets home from work today at which point he will be reunited with his owner.

Thank you for your help and good wishes and a special thank you to the Sleepy Hollow Police Department who alerted me everytime the dog was seen yesterday and who even followed him in their cruiser down Route 117 until I could get there and try to catch him (unfortunately he ran into the woods).

I love dogs and people who love dogs.  Glad to know there are so many of you out there.

Warm regards,

Elaine Marranzano
