Tonight: Joan Allen, Peter Askin Hold Q&A with Sleepy Hollow Fans

Well, we didn’t win an hour with Stephen King – as the Village of Sleepy Hollow had hoped when they booked the filming of King story 'A Good Marriage' here – but getting a star and a director isn’t so shabby.

While the production team suggested that King would be game for a possible Q&A with the village while we're hosting his film crew for some weeks, it turns out the horror king was too booked to even pass through our creepy neck of the woods.

King is known to usually make a cameo appearance in his films, but apparently not this time. Which might leave some surprised – wouldn’t King love it here? Wouldn’t he and Sleepy Hollow make a fine pair

Instead the crew offered up star Joan Allen, who plays the long-unsuspecting (then suspecting) wife of the serial killer in the house on Bellwood Avenue serving as their set, and the director himself Peter Askin.

Both Allen and Askin will answer audience and moderator questions in a forum open to the public at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19 at the legendary Old Dutch Church. The moderator will be Tarrytown author Joe Queenan.
