Elmsford Family Raising Money for Baby's Future

Chrissy Tiru, of Elmsford, suddenly lost her husband in March, 2013. And her newborn lost a father.

Beautiful Calysta is now much bigger than this photo but in (growing) need of support, writes cousin Tara Griffiss, of the Go Fund Me Campaign she started for her relatives.

“John was the beloved husband and father of my cousin Chrissy and her beautiful 6 week old daughter, Calysta.  Chrissy is an amazing mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend to many of us,” wrote Griffiss. “Please help me raise money to alleviate the financial burden of the upcoming months and to provide some savings for little Calysta.  Thank you all in advance and please keep the family in your prayers!”

They are still accepting donations. The campaign has so far raised $1,350 toward a $10,000 goal.
