Craig Kelly, Police Officer with the Sleepy Hollow Police Department reports on the big and heartwarming success of the Police Benevolent Association's holiday drive drive:
On behalf of the Sleepy Hollow PBA:
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of those who participated and made the toy drive a total success. Thanks to our incredible community, we were able to collect approximately 240 toys. At the end of the event, we were left with just about 30. Those extra 30 toys were brought to the Westchester Medical Center and given to the children in the pediatric unit who will sadly be spending their Christmas under Dr.'s care. The faces on the children who showed up told the whole story and proved that this was an effort well worth the undertaking.
