These were some of the very specific items listed by a worker as stolen from her vehicle after transporting them from Phelps operating room on July 5 to a Hartsdale doctor's office.
On July 19 the worker reported to Sleepy Hollow Police that at noon on the 5th she had received two trays from Phelps Hospital operating room containing various medical supplies. Around 3 p.m. she parked the vehicle and noticed the items were missing from her trunk with the trunk door open at a doctor's office in Hartsdale.
The woman reported to police that there were no signs of forced entry to her car and she checked the area and had not been able to locate the items.
The inventory list was valued at $540,000. The case has been handed over to the detective division for further investigation.
PR person for the hospital, Nancy Gold, was unable to further explain the incident, who the worker was, why materials were being transported, and what those items are used for. Gold was however stunned by the alleged price tag.
