Police: A Slew of Parking Problems in Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow police respond to several recent parking-related car accidents in the village.

Several items in recent Sleepy Hollow police blotters point to accidents with parked cars.

An officer noticed on September 8 at 8:22 a.m. two cars with heavy damage on North Washington Street. It appeared that a parked car was hit by another car and pushed into a third. The owner was notified. 

A car was struck in the parking lot at 358 North Broadway on Sept. 10 at 11:20 a.m.

A car backed into a parked car on Beekman Avenue on Sept. 10 at 12:43 p.m. 

On Sept. 11 at 6:56 p.m., a caller reported that a car had struck a parked car on River Street while she was backing out of her driveway. Only one car was damaged, with no injuries reported.
