A report of an argument in front of Viana Pizza led to a marijuana arrest.

An officer requested another unit to come for a report of a fight in front of the pizza place on Cortlandt Street at 2:19 a.m. on Nov. 2. Police found no fight but cleared a large group from the area.

At 2:23 a.m., an officer reported one man under arrest for having bags of marijuana in his possession, an open container of beer, and being underaged to drink legally.

The Sleepy Hollow 20-year-old was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Stolen Car Found

A car reported stolen from Sleepy Hollow in August was found recently in New York City.

Sleepy Hollow police advised the resident that his car, a 1999 Honda Civic, had been recovered and he could go pick it up.

Honda Civics, in particular the 1998 model, ranked second in an August 2012 listing of the top most stolen car models in the U.S. for 2011, according to this Huffington Post article. The 1994 Honda Accord has had the dubious honor of topping the list of the most stolen car in the country since 1998.
