Tarrytown Board 'Disappointed' with Dismissal

The Village has not decided yet whether to pursue further legal actions against Sleepy Hollow.

On Thursday, the Village of Tarrytown drafted a press release in response to the news that the their lawsuit against Sleepy Hollow.

They offer admission of "disappointment" and further review to come.


Late yesterday, the Village of Tarrytown received a copy of Judge James Hubert’s decision in the matter of “Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tarrytown and the Village of Tarrytown v. Mayor of Sleepy Hollow and General Motors, LLC a/k/a General Motors, which dismissed Tarrytown’s claims in this case. The Mayor and Board of Trustees are, of course, disappointed in court’s determination, and will be reviewing with legal counsel all of the Village’s options. At this time, no decision has been made as to whether to pursue furtheractions.
