Shopping Today or Just Window Shopping?

Not only is it shopping season but it’s window shopping season. The French call it faire du lèche-vitrines, literally window-licking, which may sound a tad extreme (or gross) but I get it. Some of these holiday windows are just…delicious.

What are some of the window displays around the villages, or further afield, that keep you gazing?

I’ve changed the top our Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow Patch Facebook page to the window of RHSM Life Center on Beekman Avenue -- always full of fun seasonal art for or by the kids, and they aren't even selling anything!

Donovan’s Glass on South Washington always gets my vote for going over the top with their seasonal decorations. My daughters love picking out princess cake toppers from the party store on Beekman. Then there’s the neat crochet circles from the tailor on South Broadway, the big window of Whimsies, the jewels of Star, the ferris wheel of Nu Toy, the whole front porch of Pretty Funny Vintage...
