Tuesday, Oct. 1

_In bridge news this week, this comes from the Thruway Authority: 

From Tuesday, October 1 to Thursday, October 3, one northbound right hand lane and shoulder on I-87/I-287 between exit 9 and the Tappan Zee Bridge will be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility location testing. One northbound right hand lane and shoulder on I-87/I-287 in the vicinity of exit 10 will be closed on Wednesday, October 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for catch basin repair.

Also, the temporary Westchester trestle construction continues with pile driving on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with dredging operations continuing 24/7.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

_The Tarrytown Board of Trustees meets for its work session at 6 p.m. with teh following Open Session agenda items: 

  • Planting Recommendations – Water Treatment Plant
  • 2014 Election Districts
  • RiverWalk Extension
  • Sandwich Board Signs in Restricted Retail Zoning District
  • Fire Department Membership Changes

_Sleepy Hollow's annual Cheer Clinic is back! Open to kids in second through sixth grade, this is a fun hour of action hosted by the Sleepy Hollow cheerleading squad from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Bring $15 and this registration form pictured above, and email any questions to tamia1117@aol.com.
