Description: Learn about the role of Honeybees and other native pollinators in our local environment. A slide show and lecture explaining the role of insect pollination, natural history of the honey bee, and their relation to native insect pollinators will be followed by a walk outdoors to see who is pollinating flowers in the sanctuary’s gardens and habitats. The walk will be canceled in the event of rain.
Ossining: Ossining’s Bicentennial Movies Under the Stars presents Jaws

Description: The Village of Ossining’s Bicentennial Celebration continues with a showing of the 1975 cult classic Jaws on the beach at Louis Engel Waterfront Park. Starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, and Richard Dreyfuss.
